An intrapreneur is an entrepreneur inside an existing organization — someone who builds something new using the company’s resources, usually without being asked and often against the company’s own reflexes. The term was coined by Gifford Pinchot III in 1978. Much of this publication is about how intrapreneurs succeed, and why organizations so often get in their way.
